We took Peyton kayaking together! We took turns snorkeling, while
one of us watched Peyton gleefully playing with beach sand.

Our circle island tour of Tahiti. This is taken from "one tree
hill" in Mahina. Matavai bay is below. The beach is black sand. We
later also stopped at the Point Venus Lighthouse for a closer look
of the black sand (also seen in Hawaii, made by the pounding waves
from lava rocks.)

Blowhole (Lava tubes like ones we saw on Kauai).
Arahoho Blowhole on the northern side of Tahiti Nui. There is a
blowhole visible in the picture we took, but the surf pounds in
underneath the road, and there is also geyser-like blowhole that
rushes out on the other side of the road.

Peyton took this picture of us at the Arahoho blowhole.

Waterfalls near the Vaipahi Garden

A view from the grounds of the Gauguin Museum.

One of the many flowers and foliage we saw on our trip, which
included 2 botanical stops. Vanilla and numerous varieties of ginger
& bananas.

A wetcave in the background. Tahiti calls this a grotto.

From the balcony of our over-the-lagoon bungalow.

Peyton enjoys a fresh juice cocktail, which we brought back from
the beach bar.

From the inside of the bungalow. The ceiling is much taller from
the inside than it seems from the outside.

Peyton couldn't get enough of the ceiling fan. He came back home
calling his playhouse, his bungalow.
