A short trip to Oahu. We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village
in Waikiki. Our room had a nice view, but the noise of Waikiki
kept the waves from being audible.

Hanauma Bay on the eastern side of Oahu is a nature preserve. The
bay is actually an extinct volcano crater. This environment protects the
fish and there were lots of colorful fish (the most variety we've
seen yet.)

Panoramic of Hanauma Bay

Kaneohe Bay on the north side of Oahu was stunning. Looked a
little like the Napali coast on Kauai. We went on the SeaWalker
adventure where we have these old-time looking diver helmets over
our head. We walked along the bottom of the seabed which was
teeming with sea
life. In the picture, Peifang held a sea cucumber.

Kaneohe Bay. The vertical lines, from rain runoff, on the side of the mountain cliffs
look a little like Kauai's Napali cliffs.
