6/19/99 to 6/25/99. Trip that delighted with sights and food.  So many upscale restaurants by famous chefs like Wolfgang Puck and Emeril. But our favorite was the little heralded Pelican Club.  Cafe du Monde's beignet and cafe au lait were awesome. We probably miss the beignet more than anything else.

We went on a swamp tour, steam boat ride, plantation tour, streetcar ride, and a walk through the French Quarter.
