We went to New Jersey when Taicheng was working at Bell Labs for a summer before starting his PhD.  He drove us around to see Princeton, Philadelphia, DC, Atlantic City, and New York.

Liberty Bell in Philly. Saw Bonnie and Mike P.

Washington Monument in DC. Had dinner with Stephen in DC. Stephen was there to start his PhD which he subsequently decided against.

World Trade Center towers. Surreal to think that these no longer stand and sad to think that people can't just get along.
