Bryson's birth announcement appeared in the Stanford Magazine's
1995 class notes on page 107 of the Mar 2006 issue, "We finish
with news from one of our youngest contributors, Bryson Chen,
age 6 months. 'Mom (Pei-Fang [omitted]) and Dad (Allen
[omitted], '93, MS '94, MS '98) want to share the news of my
birth with everyone. I arrived on September 8, 2005. I weighed 6
pounds, 4.6 ounces and measured 19 inches, making me 100%
identical, quantitatively speaking, to my older brother, Peyton,
at birth. Peyton is 4 years older than me, so he knows how to do
a lot more stuff than me. Peyton plays with me and gets me to
smile. Other than that, I'm busy crying most of the time. I'm
looking forward to wearing that hand-me-down Stanford sweatshirt
that Peyton has.'"
Sneak peak before Bryson's birth.

Allen cuts the cord.

Dr. Rachel Pearlman.

That's Peyton's hand on Bryson. Peyton is a compassionate child
and a caring big brother. One time when Bryson was about a month
old, Bryson was crying upstairs and we overheard Peyton on the baby
monitor trying to comfort Bryson and telling Bryson that he will go
get daddy to pick Bryson up.

Peyton still smiley as ever.

Taking Bryson home form the hospital in our new minivan. Didn't
imagine we'd ever own one.
