Part 4:Lahainatown and Haleakala National Park and elsewhere

Lahainatown was once where a Hawaiian king ruled.

The famous Banyan Tree in Lahainatown.

Flamingos at the Hyatt. They weren't fenced in and they didn't seem to want to leave the area that was marked for them. We also saw black-footed african Penguins and Swans.

Haleakala National Park. The Volcano is considered to be dormant rather than extinct since the last eruption was in 1790 within European history. The summit is at 10023 ft and we walked slowly to avoid being short of breath.
