We stayed at the Sheraton in the Kaanapali area this time. The
previous time we were in Maui, we stayed at the Four Seasons in
Wailea. Four Seasons was beautiful, but in many ways we liked
Sheraton better. Black Rock on Kaanapali Beach where we were
situated was a great place to go snorkeling (just walk right out
from the hotel). The resort grounds and facilities were more family
friendly (spacious and included a kiddie pool).
We had an awesome Deluxe Ocean-Front room right on Black Rock.
Panoramic view from our lanai. The view included ocean, islands, and
sunset. The view spans (left to right) from island of Lanai to
island of Molokai to the northern stretch of Kaanapali Beach.

On the lanai.

Nap after a tired morning of snorkeling and beach fun.

On the Lanai. Peifang and Bryson wearing Hawaiian design clothes.

From our room again.

Bryson surprised us by playing by himself for extended periods of
time in the travel yard that we brought -- better behaved than at
home.
